Many thanks to the Greenbelt Pool Management for allowing us to utilize their facility to take pictures that seem more fitting than in Roosevelt's gym. Enjoy!

Raiders Vanquish Spartans, Panthers |
 In an unusual weekday meet while school is in session, the Roosevelt Raiders Swim Team sent the Laurel Spartans and Parkdale Panthers packing with dual wins over both teams for the Boys and the Girls. There will be more information about the meet soon (the Results are posted below the Read More link, and Photos can also be viewed by clicking on Photos in the left hand menu), and, of course, there will be NO meet THIS Saturday. Practice will be held normally, and our next Check-In will start on Saturday evening at 6pm, and go to Tuesday night at 11pm. Raiders Dominate Clippers, Patriots |
 The Roosevelt Raiders ran their records to 8-0 for both Boys and Girls with defeats Saturday of the Oxon Hill Clippers and the Friendly Patriots at Prince Georges Community College. The Raiders won for the second time in consecutive weeks against Oxon Hill (Boys: 132-27; Girls: 140-26), and defeated the smaller Friendly High School (Boys: 132-34; Girls: 140-26), a team they rarely swim during the regular season.
Both Boys and Girls teams dominated all relays, coming in first and second in each, while in the individual events, placed first, second and third in all events except four, won by Friendly. Natasha Chomko won both her individual events (200 Free-2:03.47 and 100 Free-57.21), While Lee Freidman won both of his individual events (50 Free-23.59; 100 Breast-1:08.75), Michael Stevens dominated his events too (100 Fly-1:00.94; 100 Back-1:00.29) and Daniel Chavez captured his two events (200 IM-2:16.63; 500 Free-5:16.72).
